Snail carrying aiptasia??

The snails shell is covered with a bunch of little things that have stalks with feather duster like tips? Any clue what it could be? Hopefully not aiptasia!

That is green hair algae on your snail. Def not aptaisia.

Why would it only grow on my snail shell?

Looks like hydroids to me.

My snails have it too because they move do slow. (sometimes don't move in days )
