Hello,

I work at a lfs and noticed a frag today that looks like it's covered in a think spiderweb or mold casing.. I did a quick google search and couldn't find anything like I was seeing.. I think the frag is some type of favia. I dipped the coral in coral rx and after a few hours held it in front of a power head to try and blow some of it off (To no avail). Does anyone have any insight as to what this might be and how, if it's not to late, to treat it?

Thanks you!

It's not a Vermitid snail. That's the only thing I found on google and it's not that. Plus I'm pretty sure the dip would have killed it if it was that.
