Sponge? Fungus?

So iv been wondering what this is for a little while now. Can anyone identify it? The off white stuff in between my zoa polyps. Just wanna make sure its. Not anything bad

Doesn't look like a sponge to me. If it is, it needs to form/develop some more.

It's sponge, but it's overgrowing those zoas. I would scrape it out of there gently.

Any recommendations on how to do that? Zoas arent so happy about it being there from the looks of it

Use a small screwdriver or maybe a scalpel if you have one. Just pull the frag and scrape it out from between the polyps. If the frag is attached, then do it inside the tank.

Pair of tweezers and pull it out. Comes off easy
