I got it from ebay from tbaquatics it says it is a reef smart so far works well apart from my water pressure being to low

Ok so i have just purchased some .5-1mm reef sand and some salt so i think i will just mix it up and cycle the tank and run it as a fowlr for 6mths or so until its establishes well them thinking of adding miracle mud to the refugium it should be ok to this shouldnt it ?

well time for an update

have just added 10lbs of miracle mud to start the refugium and also installed exhaust fan to control moisture and temp issues, i have a digital humidistat / thermostat controller on the way to so i dont have to run it all the time. Also have purchased two 120w led light fixtures awaiting delivery will post pics when they arrive

as you can see i still have that problem with the green algae so next weekend i'm picking up a cleanup crew thinking maybe some hermit crabs few snails and maybe a starfish or something

also forgot the mention have also added an auto top off system you can see the float setup at the front of the sump so far all going ok

Just picked up some new additions a bi colour blenny, banggai cardinal, 2 trochus snails and a red star fish now they just have to survive the 2.5 hr drive home
