Hey guys,

Seriously considering making the jump to CO2 injection. I think I've got a pretty good idea of the equipment I need to get:

Aquatek Basic or Premium regulator
Green Leaf Aquarium Bubble Counter w/ Check Valve
Green Leaf Aquarium Atomic Diffuser

My questions are as follows:
What size diffuser is best? What's the difference between long and short?
What is a good source for a drop checker? The ones on GLA are really nice, but I can't justify spending $45 on that...

Thanks for your help!

If you get an atomic diffuser you will need a regulator that will go up to 30-40 lbs of working pressure...

Instead of a diffuser, build a cerges reactor. It is more efficient and very easy to build.

You can buy drop checkers on ebay for 3$ shipping included. You will still need the liquid to put in it

Thumper,

Looking at the adjustable Aquatek, I think I can adjust up to 140 psi. So that would take care of the atomic diffuser.

Cthulhu,

I'll have to look into that reactor. Never really thought of that since I'm using a HOB.

Thanks guys.

I have a paintball regulator from aquatek and use the atomic diffuser. Mine works fine but I've also heard it may not work.
