Would a shoal of ten Beckford's Pencilfish, a pair of Bolivian Rams, and one Bristlenose Pleco be compatible in 32 gallon tank? Would it leave any room for future stocking options or is that pretty much a full tank?

Also, unrelated question: Do Red Tailed Sharks get along with Red Line Torpedo Barbs, Apistos, Angelfish, and/or Catfish or are they too aggressive? (Not for a 32 gallon, don't worry)

The first beginning stocking for the 32 is great IMO. It leaves you open to other stocking options like tetras, rasboras, and you could even do a pair of angels (just start with little ones). A Honey Gourami would be great in with that type of stocking also.

As for question number 2 I keep angels and have for over 30 years and they can go in the above type stock as can Apisto's for the most part, but have never kept angels or Apisto's with red tail sharks (or any type shark) or with Torpedo barbs. And it depends on the type of catfish since many get large and will eat what they can fit in their mouths, so Apisto's would be out. They could possibly be kept with angels and larger stock tho.
