Stocking Ideas-29gal

Looking for some stocking ideas!! I currently have 2 black tetra's (one smaller than the other) and a BN Pleco in a 29 non-planted. Looking for some ideas that would make it active and colorful in our family room and for the kids. I did angles before so they are out. Looking for some suggestions. Thank you!!

I personally love gouramis, they are nice to look at and active and they don't get too big for a 29 if you get the dwarf variety.

I enjoy honey gourami for my 29 gallon tank. I have one male and 3 females. Only one male so that the females are not bothered too much. They are peaceful fish who like floating plants to hang out in and/or for building bubble nests. You might want to get more of the tetras you have as they are a schooling dish. But don't add that many all at once.
