Can't decide on what to stock tank with. I want around 10 cichlids in my 55 gallon tank. I like bumble bee, electric blues. I'm looking for a variety with lots of color. Can I just mix these fish with malawi cichlids (referred to as assorted at pet store I think)?

Bumble bees are very aggressive I would pass on it.

You could go with the a bunch of the saulsi cichlids. The female is yellow and looks like an electric yellow. And the male is blue and with black bars somewhat like a demasoni. You could get some of those and then some synodontis catfish
