150 gallon 72" L 18" D 27" H 3"+ substrate is not level but has small 'hills'.

Lighting currently is 4*96 CFB and 4*39 T-5 all are 6700K.

Lots of plants some growing well others no so much. The Amazon Swords give me the most trouble; I suspect it is due to the surface growth I have of some unknown pest plant that keeps returning and growing back fast blocking the light. I have 3 Mangrove plants with 3 branches each; this plant is supposed to devour the 'bad' stuff far better than other plants. I am currently rethinking my tank tops and changing over to hanging lights so my tank will be an open tank to allow for above the tank growth. Mangroves grow slowly so I have a while to decide.

Substrate is Flourite type substrate about 1.5 in depth which is light IMHO.

Low-Medium (30 gallon tank w/20 watts, I've heard that you should have at least 2 Watts/Gallon or 3.

Just started with plants so if I'm off base please point it out.

Red Ludwiga seems to do alright. Java Fern is doing somewhat well and the Swords are in poor shape. When the swords started out they were very green, now they are a light green. There is also a snail challenge, which is why I have 5 striped loaches in the tank.

Should I increase the light to my 30 3ft long t-10 Life-Glo? I'm under the impression that I should. Thanks
