What would the minimum sized tank for a Betta fish be? I generally hear 5 gallons, but have also heard lower, so what is your personal opinion?

Thank you.

5 Gallon is what I have, I do Weekly PWCs on it no Issues running for 5 months now

Mine is in a 2.5. I would love for him to be in a larger tank, but i cant at the moment:( better than the bowl i rescued him from though...

I'd say yes, 4-5 gallons should be the minimum. But sometimes they have to be in smaller (like mine). I would never do less than 2.5 gallons though:)
