depends on how many of each do you have.
 
Generally, no. If they look very different they will most likely not. I have seen some strange things though! I know he wasn't a tetra, but I used to have a platy who seemed to think he was a lemon tetra and they look nothing like each other. I guess if you have one of a social shoaling fish he may try to shoal with other tankmates, but I doubt he would really be happy
