Upgrading my aquarium

I currently have a 55 gallon african cichlid aquarium on my second floor. The 55 gallon aquarium has been nice but i want to go bigger. im looking to get either a 100 or a 125 gallon aquarium. Now, i know this sounds crazy but hear me out. I'm going to be putting the new aquarium in the same location as the 55. It is located right over a load bearing wall and the joists under it are 2x12 and are 12" on center. I have done a ton or research on this and i find mixed opinions so i figured i'd just ask myself. Also, this part of the house is an addition so the foundation, first floor, and second floor are only 10 years old. i would love to have the 125 gallon....who wouldn't?!?!? any input on this would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

haha it shouldn't be too bad, its a straight stair case thank god

I'm no expert about this kind of stuff, but it seems you would want to sure up that space a little more. A full 100g- 125g weighs 1400 pounds!

A full 55 weighs 625 pounds give or take.

Also an empty 125 weighs 200 pounds. So ya, not fun going up stairs.
