UV inline setup help

I plan on setting up an inline UV sterilizer, the 55w sun sun.

I have a sun sun 404 (among other filters) on a 125g tank.

My plan was to just connect the uv sterilizer inline after the filter. Would that work?

Would I need another inline pump? And if so, can you add another pump without hurting the filter? Would it help the filter.?

I see a 1375gph adjustable inline pump from the same seller on ebay.

Any suggestions please.

And yes I need the uv due to algea problems
