UV Sterilizer Maintenance

How often does everyone maintain/clean their UV sterilizer? What do you do to keep them in proper running order? How long between bulb changes? TIA.

I change my bulbs in my twister every 6 months. I try to do any maint that needs to be done then also.

I take my turbo-twis apart about once a month to just rinse off the quartz case. Haven't had it long enough to change the bulb yet, but I would imagine on the same schedule as my PC bulbs, about every 6 months.
