I'm going away from the 15-18 of August. I have two goldfish. I was wondering, if for this short a period, what is my better option. I can probably get my sister to feed them, but if I can't, would it be better not to feed them for that short a time, use an automatic feeder, or to get a block?

Don't feed. I've gone on vacation for a week without feeding my fish and they were fine. Just feed a little more than usual before and after.

I've gone away a whole week too without feeding and my fish were fine. Just do as slitherbomb says, feed a little more before and after. Just do a PWC before taking off too because more food = more waste. For longer periods of time, I used an Eheim automatic food dispenser with success. Only because I had no one else to feed my fish and I had to go away for a month (and yes, all my fish survived).
