My tiger barbs do this as well. My hands are so dry my skin must be tasty.

I've seen lots of fish do this, mine as well. However, I did have a vicious Molly once who would pick on everything in the tank. I'm pretty sure he killed my gourami. He picked on my ropefish, but when he tried to steal an earthworm from my ropefish it didn't go so well. It is the ONLY time I've ever seen my ropefish be aggressive toward a tank mate, and in the end the Molly didn't make it.
