Ok I need to do a water change and I us my outside foist and it cold will that do anything to my tank? My water temp is about 79 degrees if it's cold will it crack my tank

It is not going to be cold enough to crack your tank, it might drop the temp quite a bit, you do not want to change the temperature more than a few degrees quickly.
