Hey all,

I wanted to get some current into my tank for my plants. I have a 25g tank, with 3 species of tetra (black skirt, bleeding heart, serpae), some cory paleatus, and a blue ram. I ordered a 240gph nano hydor koralia. Do you all think that this amount of current will be ok? I Had a 500gph circulation pump but I returned it and ordered the 240gph.

Besides the pump, do you have anything else pushing the water? Generally, many plants like slower current, but not all of them.

Point the powerhead toward the front of the glass if you think the plants can't handle the current.

It's kinda trial and error for setting up powerheads. As mentioned you could point it toward the front. You could also direct it into a decor item to help break up the flow.
