Have you seen those blocks in the supermarkets and other stores that say that the blocks treat Algae, ammonia, ph and all other wonderful cures are included at no extra cost. These blocks are Plaster of Paris, and nothing more.
I have a 1400L pond, the ph is high but hat is not a worry, but water hardness is. I use tank water and it contains no minerals, thus the water is too 'soft', any suggestions?
Are you aware that one of the biggest problems in Aquarium fish is Herpes, and if you buy pet stock from places that have supplies of fish with this disease, and put them in your pond/tank it will kill your healthy fish
