My water temp stays at 82 now that I have my fuge lit at night. It is very constant at amost exactly 82 day and night. Everything is doing great except my zenia tree. Is this temp okay. It went from 78-80 before I lit the fuge. Now it seems both sets of lights keep it constant but higher.

82 is fine, as long as you are not getting major swings, say 78 at night 83 in the day, you are fine at that temp.

Many say that's way too high. That's always been confusing to me since the world's reefs average about 81/82 all year. I keep mine about 81 and all seems fine.

I keep my tank around 79-81 and it's been just fine.
