Aquarium Advice Freak
Ive had a 55 gal FOWLR for almost 2 yrs and now I would like to make it into a reef tank. I have a 4 bulb Coralife PC with 2 x 65w 10000k bulbs and 2 x 65w actinic bulbs. What corals if any can I keep? TIA!

Hi there. I think you can get away with most "easy" corals with those lights. Zooa's, leathers, mushrooms, maybe a frogspawn or some candycanes. Youre not super limited but you wouldnt be able to keep nems, clams or high light loving SPS corals in my opinion.

Thanks. I'm not too bothered about not being able to have clams and anemones just yet.

Clams are really pretty but in my opinion the nems are a bother. I had one and was very unhappy with it. Plus you dont know if clowns will even host it and theres always the chance the nem can eat your fish.
Zooas I find are really colorful and cheap so I'd put some at the top of your list.
Mushrooms are the same way, pretty cheap and colorful.
Make sure you post some pics of what you end up getting!
