What fish to choose?

What kind of fish can go into a 29 gallon tank?
I love the golden head sleeper goby, some people say they can go in this size tank, and others say they can't.
So if the golden head sleeper goby can't fit, then what kind of brightly colored goby can?
I'm a beginner by the way so I need beginner fish! What stocking(s) of fish do you recommend for this size tank?
Can clownfish fit into this size tank? Because I like those too
I might not even go to a saltwater tank by the way.. or it will be a few months before I can transfer to saltwater!
