Have some cherry red shrimp on the way. I want to later add bumble bee & black forest shrimp as well.

It's just an 8g tank so I only plan to add a small amount of fish.

What small fish can be kept w/the shrimp?

You could add a school of Celestial pearl Danios (Celestichthys margaritatus), they generally get 0.5 - 1 inches each and are perfect for small aquariums.

If you dont like the look of them, You could do A couple of endlers livebearers (Poecilia sp.) and a couple of sparkling gouramis (Trichopsis pumilus). They stay around the 1-1.5 inch mark and are also great for smaller aquariums.

Both are too small to eat the shrimp.

Badis (dario dario) would also do well.

But with any of these fish, while they may not eat the adult shrimp, the baby shrimp would be dinner.

all shrimp will at least eat the shrimplets. if you dont mind that there lots of fish that will work. there are a lot of small rainbows and rasboras as well. ember tetras are a nice one too.
