What is this bad boy?

Can anyone tell me the proper name for this marine sea slug / snail? Any interesting facts also welcome. He is apparently coral friendly and tends to stay on the sand. Thanks !

That is a sea hare. You have the more common variety you see in saltwater aquaria. Hope this info helps.

Thanks, I was told he was a sea slug by person in shop who looked a bit clueless! My clean up crew needed a boost.

Well, it technically is a sea slug. But that guy's name is sea hare.

I had one of these to clean up algae they need pristine water conditions to survive and once algae is gone you will need to bring back or go away because it will die

Also once It dies it can release poison so be careful
