What Is this on My Snail?

Hey Guys I got some Banded Tiger Trochus Snails 2 months ago. All of a sudden they have this green mat growing on them. My tank has no hair algae in it so what is this? Can I scrape it off?

It's hair algae, I've had a few come in with it on the shells. You can pull it off the shell, or just leave it. I left mine and no harm done. Kinda cool to see it on them.

So just pull him out and scrape him off?

Well I would hold him under but yeah if you want. Just pull it, comes right off.
