Wow, cool! they almost spiral like christmas tree worms. (kinda like a feather duster) but seem rather thin for that. See if they retract like a feather duster. If not I would only guess either some type or foram (spelling) or branching sponge. Either way they look cool. Hope it helps at all.
Its an algae that will grow on coral flesh and everywhere else. It will kill them by doing so, and nothing eats it because its toxic. I pulled some of this stuff off the rock, and fed it to my tangs and they ate it. I think im clear.
