What kind of hermit crab is this??

I recently bought some algae for my refugium... And this guy hitched along with it. I I felt bad for him (don't know why) so bought him along with the algae. I can't identify him. I've browsed the Web for a little while... But haven't had any luck.

Any idea what this guy is??

BTW, I read that they get VERY big and will kill fish that it can catch. Not reef safe either from what I read.

Yeah. I read that too. Right now he's by himself in my refugium. He seems happy there, so I guess I leave him be.

They do get big! This guy was at one of my lfs and was as big around as a softball! Very cool tho!
