What kind of plec

Please can anyone advise me as to which plec is best suited to small 30ltr aquariums.
I only have 1 male & female guppy in it !
Aquarium is getting quite bad with algae.

I'd say you should probably try figure out what's causing excess algae in the first place. How much light does your tank get? How long for? How often do you change your water? Have your lights on for 6 hrs max and see if that helps. Also, try to shield it from any direct sunlight too.
30ltrs is quite small (8 or so gallons right?). That limits you in terms of algae eaters. Maybe shrimps or snails?

Ottos wont survive in that tank. If you are getting that much algea with only two fish you are over feeding and not doing water changes. Ottos need good water quality and all plecos get to big for our tank. Start doing 25% water changes at least once a week and cut down on feeding don't feed more than once a day.
