What other American Cichlid should I get

All my fish are young, they are currently in a 55 gallon, then will be put in a 3-400 gallon.

I have:
-Green Terror
- Electric Blue Jack Dempsey
- Tiger Oscar
- Convict
- Salvini
- Jewel
- Yellow Peacock (Larger)
- Common Pleco

I am going to get 1 more tomorrow, would a Red Head Severum or Red Terror work

Yes they would. A Texas is another option, lovely fish IMHO.

For an ca/sa cichlid tank i would first get rid of the africans, then dont add anything to the 55 until you have the larger tank, transfer fish to larger tank and use the 55 as a grow out tank. also severums or a school of tinfoil barbs, i know the barbs arent american, but they make great dither fish. my two cents.

Silly he is the king, already in tank with my South Americans, but he does get ornary if I keep the same for more than a week lol
