Hi everybody!! Time to tank with the big boys.. it's going to be 75 gal, pfs, some choice rock and dw, maybe one or 2 plants and a big dude or few med dudes?? Def. Sa/ca no lakes.. i just had a look at the lfs... so far I really like the blue acara, red spot severum and talked with the guy about a paratilapia bleekeri for a while, seems like a little hellion?? Experience? Thoughts? I'm totally up for ordering from a trusted breeder. I do like to support my local lfs when possible..

A pair of severums with a heckelii. Then a super large school of peaceful tetra. Severums are what got me started in the sa/ca cichlids.

Last fish I had in my old 75g was a festae...pure NASTY from head to tail, brilliant coloration to boot!
But it was "Mr.NastyTime" all the time too...

20L Mafia...

This is my some day pair in my some day 6'x2' tank.

I don't want the nasty time though.. I'm officially over attitudes so silent splendor will do just fine here..

Should be good. I thought you would go for the hecklii due to the resemblance of a ram. Just remember that most rainbows get huge. Most only see them when small. I would do the congos.
