Was looking in my 100 L tank before and saw this hair like stuff growing on my leaves. i rubbed some of it off but then decided to take a pic and post it on here to see if anyone knows what it is?

HELP?!!?!

black hair algea. some people refer to it as black beard algea aswell i believe very hard to get rid of if it takes hold. if u can fine a true siamese algea eater they will eat it. but make sure its not the common flying fox. they look very similar and get mixed up. also american flag fish eat it. its been a while so i could be mistaken
 
Ok thanks.

I cant see any on any other plants.. so if i get rid of this plant will i be ok, or will it start to grow else where?
 
if your lucks and erradicate the infected leaves if may not spread. but its a pretty resilient type of algea. just google bba problem. u should get lots of results
