What type of algae is this? Should I be worried?

From the pic it almost looks soft. If that's the case I would say some type of sponge. I still wouldn't be worried about it though

It's soft, like velvet, I do have some harder red algae too! It's not cyano is it?

If it's soft, it's most likely cyano then. Could be a low flow zone if it's the only area developing it and their are no other nuisance algaes growing anywhere.

Hm it seems to be growing on a lot of my tank. I do have a V2 powerhead that does 1000l/h, my phosphate is at 0 and my nitrate is only slightly above 0 however I'm currently trying to decrease it, any ideas on how to remove it?

If you can blow it off the rock that is Cyanobacteria.
