i did 40 pounds of gravel in my 55, not sure honestly.

i did like 40-45 pounds of sand in my 55 and hgave mor tahn an inch,and i beleive a 55 and a 75 ave the same footprint. IMO 60 pounds is fine

I was thinking 60 but the bags come in 25 lbs. So I might just get 75 lbs. I just don't wanna spend as much money on it as petsmart is pricing it at.

you could get pool filtyer sand instead,looks great and it only cost me 13 dollars for a 50 pound bag
