When to add fish to a newly set up tank

I just got a 90 gallon tank. I was wondering how long before i can add fish after setting it up.

Congratulations on the new tank and welcome to the forum!

The first step to stocking a tank is cycling it, which means building up the beneficial bacteria to process the waste the fish create. On the front page of this site (I'm on my phone or I would direct you there) is a great article about cycling.
