I have a whirlpool brand R/0 system I bought from Lowes for drinking water. Can I use this for mixing tank water? Or do you need a special aquarium R/O maker?
Agreed. You could consider getting a DI unit and plumbing it into the line that feeds your aquarium use. This way you take advantage of the RO unit you already have, and just make a small upgrade to get the DI as well.
I think (I might be wrong, feel free to correct me, anybody) that at drsfosterandsmith.com they sell seperate canisters, or extra canisters that you can add to your system, for better filtration.
