white gills on a black molly?

I just got a female black molly today and when I got her home I noticed her gills are white. They aren't spotty or anything but I don't know if it's ich or if that'd normal? I tried to upload a picture if that would help.

Mine have white gills too...all of them do in fact. So I think it's normal...do your black mollies ever get random white patches on their skin, and then disappear? (The white patches, not the molly lol)

Mine have had ich if that's what you're referring to but I haven't noticed white spots other than that. Except on my dalmations haha

Nope not ich...only affects one fish at a time, comes and goes. Like flaky skin kind of?

Maybe it's changing colors. I have noticed a few of mine getting darker or lighter
