Want to get a bristlenose to deal with some of the algae in my 20 gallon. But I'm also planning on breeding apistos. Will the bn eat the eggs, or fry of the apistos. If so what's an algae eater that won't.

I know that bnps will devour angelfish eggs in the night, so id say get something else. Bnps poop an amazing amount too.

I dont think otos would eat them. Or snails

Or you can figure out what's causing your algae and fix it rather than adding a fish that may or may not fix your problem.

My BNs cleared my tank overnight, though like said before they have a huge bioload. Since you are breeding I would suggest having snails, they clean my smaller tank rather well. Maybe in the netrite familly.

A mature BNP has a large bio-load for a 20 gal tank. It will also most likely eat the eggs. I would add a few nerite snails. They are impressive algae eaters.
