Worms???

My boyfriends mom has a sw tank which is infested with little white worns in the sand. Stock is 2 clowns, lawn mower blenny, yellow tang, sailfin tang, bicolor dottie back, lobster, whelk, hermits, brittle star. Any idea what it is and how to get rid of it??

Do you by chance have a picture of the worms? Could be harmless or not, no way to tell for sure.....

Ive looked them up, i dont think they are harmful. Not bristle worms. Think they are called whip worms. Ill post a pic when i get to her house.

I think that whip worms are internal parasites in cats and dogs.

Are they in the sand sticking out and just kinda flop side to side in their pursuit of food?
