Worms

Hello, everyone hows everyone's tank doing? GREAAT... well mine maybe isn't, heres the thing. Have been seeing these worms for a while but seems like everytime i clean my tank they double in the amount i suck out of the substrate. Are they bad for my tank? They are very tiny largest one ive seen was like 1 cm... and they are see though, and the gourami and glow tetras love to eat them when im cleaning my tank and they get out of the substrate, but i never see them swimming around unless im cleaning my tank so im guessing they live in the substrate... are they bad? Are they Good? I will attach pictures but I don't know if you will see much... thanks.

I would think they are just harmless detritus worms?

What part of Maine are you in?
I have gone to Wells my whole life and have family in York.Both as far South as possible but hey?
