Can these survive in a 55 gallon? I heard some of them can only grow to about 3 inches in length but some can get up to 7 in length? let me know if this would be a good pick up

I would say no, tangs health and happiness is completely attributed to the proper amount of space for swimming. Especially with an AGA 55, unfortunately there is almost no depth (i have one for my seahorses) and after you fill it with live rock there isn't much wide open area for them to zoom around in.

Yea its really a bummer, after i got all my rock in my 55 i was a little disappointed on the space i had left over. Especially when the AGA 50 has such sweet dimensions.

Yeah I am working on getting an Acrylic Tank Next year hopefully doing Tax time....
