How fantastic is this?

A section for my yellow spotted salamander ,Java


This will be her fourth Christmas with us . She is as cool and friendly as any amphibian can be
She loves being sprayed with her water bottle and can put on quite a show when tne mood strikes her

Very nice. Are they hard to keep?

No they are not hard to keep
The tank must be kept clean and moist Water treated from chemicals and fresh
She eats about anything that moves and will fit into her mouth
Crickets and earth worms are her favorite

It is always nice to see her but when not around I keep the lights off
This particular creature is surprisingly sociable , but by nature , salamanders are reclusive and can spend a lot a time under the soil
