I acclimated them to my 5 and 10 for two hour using the drip method. What else do I need to keep them healthy?

Make sure you have a calcium source like cuttlebone or a calcium carbonate additive, the GH should be highish as well. I haven't seen a single resource say less than 6/107. I keep mine around 120 for both shrimp and snails.
 
I will take a pic when I get home from work.... Well the cuttlebone hurt my bettas?

I haven't had a betta in with cuttlebone. I do have ember tetra, celestial pearl danio and otocinclus. They're all koala in the rain about it. The calcium release is gradual and unlikely to bother him in the least.
 
Here they are the one on the moss ball is in the 5 gallon and the one near the plant is in the 10 gallon
