zoo med bulb

was at my lfs, and i stumbled upon some lights. i was wanting to get the zoo med 50/50 bulb. i was told it will give my tank a blueish tint. i was wanting to c if anyone has had this bulb, or give me some suggestions. i have the stock light fixture, and its a one bulb system, sadly.

I don't have any experience using these with aquariums, but I have used them with my reptiles in the past. I personally prefer Exo-Terra products. They are a lot more durable and better quality and the reps I have met from them (at Repticon) are a thousand times nicer. But, that's just my opinion. Hopefully someone has some experience using them aquatically.

Are you wanting anything out of your light for plants? Or just a blue-ish color?

this light would be for a cichlid tank, and i want a light to show the colors of my fish more than my stock light
