"Tanked"

there is a tv show called "Tanked". i think its on animal planet, correct me if im wrong. i was wanting to see what you guys think about the show. a new season is starting up, so if you havent seen it yet it would be a good time to watch it. i really liked the show, i thought it was very interesting, and i was shocked that a show about building aquariums would be on tv. any thoughts about the show and what you think about it would be greatly appreciated.
im not sure if this was posted in the right place lol

i love seeing the designs of the tanks and how creative they are. it doenst matter that i don't own it (wish i did) but i still get that feeling of excitement when they bring in the person to see the tank :)

im not exactly sure, ill post the time when i find out. but yeah its an awesome show, i wish they would have done more than 1 african tank lol.

I liked the octopus tank that one of the main guys got for his Bday, and the ray tank that they used to double as a proposal.

yea, all there tanks are awesome. imagine having a job were you got to build fish tanks, and have all of the materials for the tanks right in front of you. man those guys are lucky lol.

try looking it up on the internet, the new season is coming up, and i believe they stopped showing their old season. i think i posted this in the wrong thread lol, i think it needs to be in aquaria off topic or something.

i just watched a commercial on it, and the new season is starting April 14th at 9pm est.

Reading the thread from the beginning prevents info being repeated.

I did read the thread from the beginning but when I went to my cable and looked it up it didn't exist, so I had to be sure it was on that channel. I'm figuring it's just not in listings yet.

I really like the big reef tank they did for the chinese? couple. The fungshei (sp?) tank.

What bothers me though is they always theme it, or do artificial corals 99% of the time, use water straight out of the tap, and do not cycle the tank, or practice quarantining.

Great show though, I'd gladly take any of those tanks!! I wonder how they get away without cycling.

yea i noticed they didnt cycle any of the tanks. i wonder how that works with all of the fish, and setimes they have corals that need prestine water like nems.
