Found out yesterday I was, leaving the light on too long oops. Cut it down to 10 hours on the freshwater tank. Set the digital timer on my salt tank and set the plug on timer on the fresh tank

Hoping to get some more info from my uncle on this 55 gallon he's giving me. I did get the green light to set it up! As far as I know, it's just the tank, but I'm sure he has extras. As far as condition goes, it's gonna be a crapshoot.

Took out my guppies and brought to the lfs. Had a talk with the employee about how he says my tank didnt cycle because tere weren't fish there. I said I had an alrernite ammonia source. He wouldn't hear it! I can't wait to bring in aa's article along with 5 others about why to fishless cycle and all that.

I did a 50% wc to remove tannins from adding soil to subtrate yesterday and I added micro swords....I did absolutelynothing to 5g, 40b, and 55g today just admired them....

No he does great with shrimp never bothers any, thats one thing he doesn't eat. Thanks

PWC on an already cycled recently planted 20g tank. Removed dead leaves; relocated some foreground plants for better spacing. Realized the 2 potted crypto parvas can be separated; replanted 14 new plants spaced 2 cm apart.

How big do these guys get? Would 2 work in a 55?

Yeah most get 6" to 8" so u will be fine. Remeber not to use a net to catch these guys.

I have one in my 55 mbuna tank. He does great. Only get one though as they grow they can become territorial.

No striped but he is starting to come out of his shell. He likes to hang with my green terror at night and during the day he hangs with my convict.
