So, after fiddling with the needle valve and getting mixed results from trying to have the CO2 on a timer, I'm doing an experiment. I'm leaving it at ~2bps overnight to see if that helps the color in my two DCs.

Also, during a bit of rearranging of aquarium supplies, I dropped the CO2 tank... Onto my lap. My inner knee cushioned the fall, but got a nasty bruise in the process.

Back to the tank: it is looking so much better than when I started. I'm noticing a bit of yellowing on some of my Anubias and Pogo. I'm upping the doses of potassium and nitrogen and hope it'll help get them back on their roots!

I'm so insensitive...first thought that came to mind was "hope the tank and/or regulator is okay". :) Hope your leg is okay.
Secure that tank! Even though I only have a 24 oz tank, I have a metal bracket wrapped in black electrical tape (did not want the metal edges to scratch the CO2 tank) that holds the tank upright

Adjust the needle valve can be tricky. Early on I would watch the bubble count fluctuate. It calmed down after a while.

Hahaa! No worries, Fresh! I cursed like a sailor while checking the tank for injuries! It, and my leg, are perfectly fine. I'll just be gimping along for a few days, lol.

I was moving the tank to the cabinet under my tank so my four-legged pets don't touch it. It is nice and snug now!

I'm curious about the yellowing in some of the old growth in the tank. Any advice?

Not really sure about the yellowing. Especially on two plants that have very different growth rates. Hopefully someone will chime in.
If it is the older leaves then I could be that the plants will favor new leaves when it comes to nutrients and resources and the older leaves suffer as a result. Perhaps the plants are still adjusting to your tank.

Yellowing can be a potassium deficiency, it could also be as simple as adjustments like fresh said. Plants can melt in a new environment, they'll usually come back though..

Update time!

Added Taxiphyllum sp. 'Spiky' moss, Fissidens fontanus, and AR to the tank. Also added a little accent LED lighting to help in the 600nm range.

Got some nice patterns and new growth on the Blyxa...

So, I've started my EI dosing schedule for the plants. I used the calculator below to get my numbers.

http://rota.la

Day 1: Flourish Macros 21ml-K, 15ml-N, 44ml-P
Day 2: Micros - 21ml & 6ml-Fe
Day 3: Flourish Macros 21ml-K, 15ml-N, 44ml-P
Day 4: Micros - 21ml & 6ml-Fe
Day 5: Flourish Macros 21ml-K, 15ml-N, 44ml-P
Day 6: Micros - 21ml & 6ml-Fe
Day 7: 50% PWC and rest

I'm also dosing Flourish Excel every day at 3.6ml (gradually going to increase it to 9ml). The extra bit of Fe is for my red plants.

However, I'm noticing that on Micro days, the tank gets cloudy...

Anyone else out there experience this with EI dosing using Flourish supplements? Also, are the doses above about right for a 36g?

That would be pearling. Your water is over saturated with o2, and the excess is released through pearling.

O2 or CO2? Thank you for the quick response! I'm heading to google now to see what I can't discover...

EDIT: I looked it up and found info. Coolio. Might not be the only end-goal, but certainly pretty to watch! I was just fascinated by it the other day and had no idea what it was...

O2. O2 is the end process of a word I can't remember to save my life...anyway the plants produce o2, and you are seeing the excess o2 leave the plant

Your tank has come quite a way and looks well laid out.
Your EI schedule looks complicated. Not meaning to be mean. I was under the impression that you add it all on one day and do a 50% WC at the end of the week and repeat. I suppose that is one variation on it.
My PPS pro schedule is 2 mL of macro, micro, and nitrate daily. I generally add nitrate the first couple days after a WC and the fish make up the rest.
