I believe it is a venustus from lake Malawi I could be wrong.... Look that up on google images and see if it looks the same to you

Definately venustus, they get rather large, i hope you have a big tank.
 
Oh wow. I wanted to get him because they are so pretty but i couldnt get him today because of my busy schedule I had plans on getting it tomorrow and getting up early and making a 45 min drive. I have 55 gal with a lot of mbunas. I'm def not getting it if they get 10 inches. Thanks guys. Guess I'm sleeping in tomorrow!

They are beautiful fish i wanted one for my 125g but i wanted to stay with 6in or smaller so skipped them :/

Its not a Mbuna it's actually a Haplochromine. They do get big and require a lot of space. IMO they should be.stocked in a 6' tank.

Yea. They were in the tank with other mbunas but petco doesn't know what they're doing have the time
