Look It Up
Every tank is different, I don't know that one method is faster than another. Pure ammonia is easier to control and dose and it's cleaner and less smelly.

Nope, normal on new driftwood. It'll go away on its own in time. In the meantime you can just wipe it off.
Not at all...
I took mine out of the tank and washed it off like librarygirl said to do. It has been a day or so and I do not see it coming back yet…. When I got it I never put it in boiling water or anything I just let it soak for 3 weeks… As far as fish eating it and getting sick I have no clue….
MOZCHEEZ- Yes that is a fact A lot of great and smart people to help thank god..I think you are right You never get a set amount using dead shrimp. I will have to pick some up this weekend.. Thanks man....
LOVIN FISH- If you could take it out of the tank to wash it off it would work out better for you. I grabbed mine and the stuff started floating all around the tank. A lot cleaner doing it out of the tank...
