Aggressive when they breed but otherwise relatively peaceful. Can't answer because I keep all of my fish in species only tanks

they're like the playground bully that talks a mean game but never actually hurts anyone the fem gets a little pushy with fry in the tank, it's mainly a fin flaring extravaganza... Which makes for great photo ops..

I don't see why not, i can't see them interacting much with angels as long as you give them some good ground structure and caves..
