Tests are in, 0,0, 5-10 SG is 1.025 on the dot. Ammonia is sortof worrying me though..

Huh. I must have apis older kit. It is a couple years old. Your ammonia color chart is much easier to read than mine. My 0 is like a beige and .25 is a very light green and it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

6 hours sounds good with a powerhead or 12 hours with occasional stirring with out a powerhead

Cool, we have a powerhead, but i think the lfs will be closed in 6 hrs, thatd be about 9 oclock. Maybe go earlier? Both lfs close at 7

From the picture it looks like .25 is kinda dark then .5 is a little lighter? Then it gets darker again as it goes up? Idk. Kinda looks like .5 to me. But I'm just looking at my phone. Either way it ain't zero. Maybe just wait to do the water change till the morning.

Nice what kind of hermits and snails did you get? One crab that's really cool is a Sally Lightfoot crab. It's really hyper and jumpy.

Yea, are they good for algae and stuff? They were like 3/per at this lfs, so thats why i didnt get them today. Maybe a different lfs will have them cheaper!

They don't eat algae, mainly detritus and other leftover nasties.
